Engine 49 Barrel Strength Bourbon
For the Type A whiskey drinker, we introduce our Engine 49 Barrel Strength Bourbon.
If you want control over how you drink your whiskey, we always recommend a higher proof. Open it with a few drops of water, a large ice cube, otherwise sip it neat for the bold taste. The mash bill and barrels are the same as it’s little brother, E49 Straight Bourbon, but the barrel strength blend is an older average age and significantly higher proof. The heat of 60% ABV hits the front and sides of your palate with thin, hot corn, but right when you think it’s going to continue to get hotter, the heat plateaus and the backend is the all familiar vanilla, caramel bourbon sweetness that everyone knows and loves about American Whiskey.
Recommended to be drank neat, with water, or over ice.
