aBout
Dry Diggings Distillery is a small, family-owned and operated business rooted in the Sierra Foothills. We began distilling on-site in 2012, opened our tasting room in 2015, and in October of 2025 welcomed the long-awaited addition of Hills · Cocktails & Dining.

Please Note: Our Business is intentionally a
21+ establishment.
No one under 21 allowed. This includes Infants.
We built this place for adults to gather, slow down, and enjoy thoughtful drinks, good food, and real conversation. Our bartenders are also your servers, cocktails are crafted to order, and dishes are cooked fresh—so things may take a little time; that’s part of the experience.
Our spirits are the backbone of our cocktail program,
but we believe good company extends beyond our own walls.
Our bar highlights a tight selection of California wines, beers, and spirits from fellow craft producers—prioritizing small, independent makers and local partners whenever possible.
This isn’t a place built for the masses. It’s a place for people who appreciate craft, community, and the simple pleasure of sharing a table or striking up a conversation with someone new.
If that sounds like your kind of place, our door is open and we’d be honored to welcome you.
Off the Beaten Path
5050 Robert J MathewsParkway, El Dorado Hills, CA 95762
You don’t find Dry Diggings Distillery and Hills by accident — you find it because you’re looking for something real.
We’re tucked just beyond the main roads, where the company’s better and time moves slower.
Directions (from Interstate 50)
From I-50 either direction, take the Latrobe Road exit (not directly Robert J. Mathews).
Head down Latrobe Road until you pass White Rock Road.
Continue until you reach Business Park #3 / Golden Foothill Pkwy — you’ll see Tractor Supply Company as a landmark on the corner.
Turn right into Golden Foothill Pkwy at that Business Park entrance.
Immediately after turning in, take the first turn left onto Robert J. Mathews Pkwy.
Drive down Robert J. Mathews Pkwy. On your right you will see a field — count one driveway past that field.
Pull into that driveway. Your building is the second one back from the road, and you’ll recognize it by the barrels lined up along the front, even though there is no external signage.
What You’ll See on Arrival
As you drive in, the building will have a modern industrial facade, set against the foothills of El Dorado Hills.
The surrounding area is a mix of light-industrial and commercial, so don’t be thrown off by the warehouse-look — you’re in the right place.
